Description:The Lockheed Martin Skunk Works Utah business is in search of a highly motivated staff level Operations manager to join our rapidly expanding team in Vineyard, UT. The Operations manager will be responsible for personnel management, safety, budgets, lead times and schedule compliance for production planning, procurement, shipping, operations engineering, quality management, facilities management, and local IT support. Manages activities involving the producibility and quality of the product, and the processes that directly pertain, encompassing primarily one or more of the following engineering disciplines: failure analysis, industrial, manufacturing, manufacturing equipment, process, product, quality assurance, reliability, supplier quality, Lean Six Sigma, test, and tool. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
The candidate should be energetic, able to work independently, yet thrive in a team environment while prioritizing multiple conflicting efforts, and have sound theoretical and practical experience.

This position is located in a secured facility and will require US Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications:
• Practical experience in Operations or Production
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in contributing to bids and proposal development
• Experience creating and providing presentations to Executive Leadership
Desired Skills:
• At least 10 years of practical experience in Operations or Production
• Understanding and experience with Small Unmanned Air Systems hardware and software
• Multi-domain/discipline experience to understand and provide guidance in production planning, procurement, shipping, operations engineering, quality management, facilities management, and IT
• Involvement in driving continuous improvement efforts
• Ability to thrive in multitasking environment, supporting multiple efforts simultaneously
• Preferred Education in Bachelors or Higher in Engineering Discipline
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
