Description:Lead the CCTT team and perform duties as an instructor on the system. Maintain and operates computers in support of the Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT) family of training devices. CCTT supports the training of Armor, Infantry, Cavalry, and Armored Reconnaissance units from squad through battalion/squadron level.

The CCTT team lead shall brief, instruct, and train users on training and performing mission tasks utilizing CCTT Family of Training Devices. The leader shall define, develop, and conduct training for users/operators to understand the functional and operational capabilities of the CCTT Family of Training Devices. Additionally, have in-depth knowledge of Armor/Abrams and Mechanized/Bradley gunnery, Combined Arms Training Strategy (CATS), digital/voice calls for fire, engagement area development, direct fire planning, indirect fire planning, Objective T performance standards, and applicable Tactics Techniques & Procedures (TTP). The leader shall maintain up-to-date knowledge based on current army doctrine and standards related to this paragraph.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of the Army’s Senior Leaders course (SLC)
or higher level of professional military education (PME) and held a senior NCO position of Platoon
Sergeant or higher in Infantry or Armor MOS. Must be a graduate of an official Army ASI
producing Master Gunner Course. Must have SME level of understanding in both dismounted
and mounted training and combat operations. Must have served as a Master Gunner at
echelons of Battalion or higher. Must maintain up-to-date knowledge based on current army
doctrine and standards. Must have knowledge of the Combined Arms Training Strategy (CATS) standards,
Understand the Training and Evaluation Outlines (T&EOs) grading process, and have SME level of
knowledge of applicable Tactics Techniques & Procedures (TTP) for assigned duty location and type of
unit. Expected to advise units and act as Observer Controller Trainers (OC-Ts) as needed or
as requested by training unit.
Must be able to travel to other ATMP sites as required

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
