Boeing Global Services Digital Solution and Analytics is seeking an experienced Solution Consultant (Crew Management System) to join our team of professionals.  This position will be responsible for providing strong strategic capability to understand our valued client’s requirements, and translating these into business solutions.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides technical consulting and support to pre-sales engagements.

  • Leads and plans solution consulting studies, liaising with our valued clients to further enhance Jeppesen crew and network operation management deliverables.

  • Analyzes customer processes in an effort to provide recommended improvements.

  • Guides the successful completion of aspects of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.

  • Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the airline / aviation industry.

  • Hands on experience with Airlines network management or Crew Management products is advantageous.

  • Competent in Microsoft Office.

  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to be effective team member.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering, Aviation Management, Science & Technology or equivalent and 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Knowledge of commercial airline network management, airline engineering process, or crew planning process is essential.

  • Excellent communication skills in proposal preparation and presentation.

  • Able to identify pain points and opportunities for customers and propose solutions that will deliver significant business value

  • Deep understanding of airlines tail assignment, aircraft routing, ops control, crew pairing and rostering would be highly advantageous.

  • Creative problem solving capability and have strong analytical and listening skills

  • Experience in logical thinking, rule based programming and Python is advantageous

  • Frequent travel will be a key component of this role.

Relocation

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
