  • The Structures Project Manager will ensure that customer requirements are adequately defined, uniformly understood, and appropriately Planned to achieve the successful execution of project.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and within the budget parameters.
  • Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
  • Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
  • Confers with project members to define scope of work, assign duties and provide responsibility direction.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
  • Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules and/or plans as required. Prepares project reports for management, customers, or others.
  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
  • May coordinate project activities with activities of government regulatory agencies and/or aircraft OEMs.
  • Ability to travel 30 of the year.
 
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 
  • Bachelor’s degree in EE or related engineering degree.
  • (Min of 5 – 10 yrs) of which at least one to three years should be program/project management.
 
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS  MANAGEMENT: A minimum of five-year experience working with technical personnel and complex activities. These experiences should be gained in areas of research and development, product engineering, design engineering or technical management.  COMMUNICATIONS: A general understanding of persuasion techniques and methods. Clear ability to effectively communicate verbally with personnel and management at all levels.  PROBLEM-SOLVING: Establish and meet project objectives. Identify adequate and appropriate resources to be assigned to projects to ensure the company’s goals are achieved and the customer’s needs are met. 
OTHER REQUIREMENTS 
  • Some travel, up to 30 may be required.
The salary wage range of $94,000 - $158,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. The final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.

We also close our offices at the corporate level in the U.S. between Christmas and New Year.
