Key Responsibilities:

In the role of Airport Operations Supervisor, the individual will play a pivotal part in the smooth operation of airport facilities, being responsible for all aspects of front-line employees and ensuring operational excellence. Responsibilities include providing leadership and mentorship to employees and serving as a knowledgeable resource on safety, service, and procedures. The Supervisor will focus on nurturing the skills of front-line staff to deliver consistent, high-quality customer service in alignment with company standards. Additionally, the role involves maintaining operational consistency, reviewing performance metrics with employees, and encouraging their dedication to company guidelines and union agreements. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and supervising team performance to meet daily operational objectives are also key responsibilities. The selected individual will investigate performance, safety incidents, and customer complaints to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. Collaboration with vendor supervisors to address shared goals and participation in collateral projects are integral to the responsibilities.

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • High School Diploma, GED, or education equivalent
  • Strong sense of ownership, understanding of operations, and how to translate knowledge to business goals.
  • Continuous improvement, customer-focused, conflict resolution, accountability, collaboration, engagement/motivation.
  • Safety orientation, Decision-making with an ability to lead, Planning/multi-tasking
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in IT systems and standard software appropriate to workgroup
  • Experience leading and influencing a team and customer service experience
  • Must be flexible and willing to work any shift in a 24/hour/7 day week operation, including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Must NOT have lived outside of the United States in the past three years for any period longer than six months, except military duty or government-approved exceptions
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position

  • Bachelors Degree or relevant job experience will be equally considered.
  • Digital literacy, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience leading Union personnel a plus
  • Experience working in Airport Operations, including Customer Service and Ramp Service
