The salary for this position is $66,560.00 - $87,560.00 dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.

Key responsibilities

A Hub Vendor Supervisor- is responsible for leading all aspects of vendor operations at assigned hub station. Supports the day-to-day relationships with vendors; interacts with vendors on operational issues and local integration. Outsourced areas of focus include: Cabin Appearance, Janitorial, Fueling, Passenger Services, and any additional outsourced services as directed. Responsible for coordinating station operations vendor performance; SOP compliance; regulatory compliance, and adherence to/administration of Service Level Agreements.

  • Collaborates with cross-divisional leadership in definition of and resolution to vendor related problems/issues
  • Communicates regarding station specific and system motivated changes including, but not limited to, flight schedules, seasonal planning, volume forecasts, SOP updates
  • Oversees Vendor Operational Safety programs and initiatives to align with DOT, FAA, and corporate regulations
  • Supervises and Provides station subject matter expertise in outsourced lines of service including Cabin Appearance, Janitorial, Fueling, Passenger Services, and any additional outsourced services as directed
  • Is responsible for the administration of vendor operational performance and adherence with United and governmental requirement
  • Performs local reconciliation process and makes sure it’s in compliance and coordinated for accurate payment of invoices in accordance with contract elements
  • Participates in development and implementation of procedures crafted to reduce costs or improve service quality provided by service partners
  • Serves as key stakeholder for any station supplier transformations
  • Supervises vendor performance within station and responsible for presenting to station leadership and Vendor Planning. May also oversee tool rooms
  • Participates in regularly scheduled performance reviews with suppliers to review performance against goals and Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Responsible for reviewing customer and reliability metrics, setting locally required goals and developing a foundation for ensuring operational success
  • Supervises Vendor Operational Safety programs and initiatives to stay in sync with DOT, FAA, and corporate regulations and provides aircraft damage and employee injury investigation support
  • Responsible for ensuring suppliers are compliant with all required training requirements

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

  • High school diploma/GED or education equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Airport Operations or related background
  • Experience in project management initiatives and working cross divisionally
  • Previous experience in a leadership role such as a team lead, service director or supervisor position
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Performance management, problem solving, decision making and innovation are key abilities
  • Microsoft Office – (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license, and acceptable driving record
  • Must be flexible and willing to work any shift in a 24/hour/7 day a week operation including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Digital literacy including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience leading Business Partners
  • Experience working in Airport Operations, including Customer Service, Ramp Service, Stations Operations Center or Business Office
