Summary:

Responsibilities include the planning, coordination, development, and supervision of all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions to meet the business requirements of the organization in the hybrid cloud environment and management of integration development efforts both internal and external. The integration needs are primarily focused on connecting on-premises and SaaS software applications, such as ERP, LIMS, MES, BI as well as cloud native platforms and services through iPaaS (integration Platform as a Service) such as Boomi. This individual is also responsible for developing and maintaining an application integration architecture blueprints for the organization as well as leading integration development efforts for the organization.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Develop integration standards, related data architecture standards, governance frameworks for the Hybrid application ecosystem for the organization.
  • Develop and maintain the technology stack to include commercial, cloud native or open-source integration components.
  • Provide expert advice to project teams on use of integration technology, integration best practices, and data architecture and modeling.
  • Oversee critical steps within the Software Development Life Cycle components that impact integration development / architecture standards.
  • Provide oversight in integration standards adherence through reviews of project work including detailed technical specifications for real-time, batch and other integration patterns.
  • Working closely with Business Platform services team to ensure high level of performance, monitoring and management for the iPaaS platform.
  • Work with project teams on definition of requirements for integration strategies of their projects
  • Oversee and manage integration development efforts for the organization both internal and external (on-shore and off-shore).

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Oversee development and support of real-time, batch and back-end integration processes related to the application portfolio.
  • Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
  • Communicate project status to various levels of management.
  • Oversee the technology and standards for integration development services.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration architecture and data architecture standards, frameworks, and practices as well as development lifecycles (waterfall, agile and hybrid) and management for multiple technologies and software stacks.
  • Extensive knowledge of common system integration methods and technologies including ETL, EAI, MFT, Web services, API, SOAP, JSON, XML Schema Definition (XSD), Extensible Markup Language (XML), Business process automation and orchestration tools and software
  • Significant expertise in developing and managing real-time, batch and other integration patterns with an iPaaS (integration Platform as a Service) such as Boomi.
  • Expertise in solution design and development, vendor management, enterprise application support, in addition to strong business understanding and project management both waterfall and agile.
  • Experience with the implementation of Continuous Integration practices and tooling to support automated build, delivery, and regression test of commercial software.
  • Strong communication skills which are evident not only orally, but as a keen listener and effective writer/documenter
  • Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing technologies in an ever-evolving business environment.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree preferred or recognized qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, equivalent experience acceptable
  • 15+ years of application integration architecture and/or development management job experience in an Information Technology organization
  • 5+ years of experience with iPaaS Platform (preferably Boomi) in integration development and management

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at standard desk within a standard office working environment for long periods of time.
  • No out of the ordinary climbing, stooping, walking or lifting is required for this position.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $130,000 to $160,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 3X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
