SUMMARY
The Senior Human Resource Generalist will assist in the development and execution of HR strategies in several functional areas to advance business objectives and provide high quality HR services for Timet&39;s Henderson and Henderson Technical Laboratory (HTL) facility. HR functional areas include employee and/or employee relations, recruitment, law compliance, records management, and analysis of human capital data for reports, plans, policies, and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Drive the positive employee relations approach for Henderson and HTL.
Implement activities of the department.
Execution of department objectives that are aligned with overall business goals.
Support the HR Manager in delivering excellence in talent management through succession planning, talent acquisition and employee development.
Partner with the leadership team on the implementation of change, assisting leaders and employees during various transitions.
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to positively impact / effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Ensure compliance across the full spectrum of legal and internal human resources expectations facing the business.
Partner with the HR Manager on the development of Timet&39;s AAP including reports, action-oriented programs, AAP related policies and procedures.
Manage applicant tracking ensuring accurate information is captured and documented in accordance with OFCCP regulations.
Responsible for HR support to the plant departments, which include Henderson and HTL
Evaluating departmental policies / procedures and making recommendations to improve workflow and efficiencies.
Partners with supervisors and managers to help resolve employee relations issues including performance improvement plans, discipline, management coaching and terminations and makes recommendations to the HR Manager.
In conjunction with the HR Manager, conducts harassment investigations, documents findings, and makes recommendations to the HR Manager.
Supports all Human Capital Reporting and analysis of data on an ongoing basis, reports findings to the HR Manager.
Develops and maintains professional relationships with trade/technical schools and local community colleges as a source to generate qualified candidates.
Plays a proactive role in the preventive maintenance training of supervisors about unions, the proper way to deal with employees, and how to avoid employee relations errors.
Works directly with managers to review and update all job descriptions annually in conjunction with performance appraisal process.
Leads a broad range of tasks including resolving complaints, counseling managers and employees on the interpretation of policies and procedures.
Investigate and respond to allegations or complaints regarding harassment or work environment issues and recommend appropriate corrective action.
Assist in formulating, recommending, and administering HR policies.
Assists in employee relations counseling and exit interview process.
Communicate policies to facilitate a common understanding and consistent application throughout the facility.
Assist in developing and maintaining affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
Alleviate and remedy employee complaints and concerns.
Prepare new and revise old job descriptions as needed for all classes of employees. Classify according to applicable system.
Maintenance of relevant information in SAP and Workday which includes running reports and making improvement recommendations when applicable.
Development of recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels.
Support the administration of the internal posting program.
Assist in the maintenance of the Applicant Tracking System
Responsible for recruiting, screening, testing of hourly production and plant level hourly and salaried employees; coordinates internal postings of open positions; administer all job progression testing for employees.
Leads open enrollment planning, preparation, roll-out procedures and provides on-going support to employee benefit inquiries. Helps employees resolve benefits disputes and makes proactive improvement recommendations to Human Resource Manager as they are identified.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor&39;s Degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or related field.
8-10 years of progressive HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment and/or administrative level experience with emphasis on employee relations.
Desire for continual learning and advancement.

Handle multiple tasks concurrently and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), organization, problem resolution, and presentation skills.

SPECIAL SKILLS
HRIS databases - SAP experience and Workday.
HR certification (PHR) a plus
