We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Assistant Chief Flight Instructor to join our amazing team! The Assistant Chief is directly responsible for leading our team of instructors and the overall training and safety of students.
Required Duties:
- The Asst. Chief will assist with creating, maintaining, and implementing a training/mentoring program and setting standards for flight instruction.
- Assist in managing the CFI journey and CFI well-being.
- Oversee the certification process for students.
- Ensure that all instructors meet company and regulatory requirements that either meet or exceed FAA standards.
- Ensure all flight operations are conducted safely and in compliance with FAA regulations.
- Conduct initial and recurrent standardization of flight instructors in accordance with FARs 61 and 141.
- Perform student progress checks, end-of-course checks, and student training records audits.
