Must hold or have held:
- Airline Pilot Transport License (ATPL)
- Multi-Engine Command and Instrument Rating
- Boeing aircraft Check and Training Captain experience
- 2 years or more of regulatory experience or 5 years or more of industry experience
- Good understanding of Audit procedures.
- Knowledge of the Fiji aviation legislation including the Civil Aviation Acts, Air Navigation Regulations (ANRs), CAAF Flight Operations Standards Documents (SDs), ICAO Standards and recommended practices (SARPs), and relevant regulations, publications, rules, and procedures
- Level D Full flight simulator Instructor qualifications and experience on aircraft types of assigned operators and training organizations
- Performance Based Navigation (PBN) Systems usage and experience
Desirable qualifications and experience
- Boeing 737 Max type rating
- Development of Flight Operations standards and documentation
- Auditor in an airline or regulatory authority
- Knowledge of processes and procedures for the issue of Air Operator Certificates (AOCs), Foreign Air Operator Certificates (FAOCs), and Aviation Training Institute/Organization Certificates (ATIC/ATOC)
- Safety Management Systems (SMS) including human factors
