Dumont Aviation is a dynamic, fast-growing FAA Part 135 and Part 145 company with locations in New Castle, Delaware, Bloomington, Illinois, and Fort Worth, Texas. Our company specializes in the charter, management, maintenance, and sale of corporate aircraft. Dumont Aviation’s robust fleet of twenty-five aircraft fly both domestically and internationally. Dumont Aviation is currently seeking a full-time Aircraft Charter Sales Manager who will be based in our New Castle, Delaware location.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage Aircraft Charter Sales Representatives and Sales Department Assistant by setting goals, providing direction, and answering questions
  • Work with management to refine sales strategies and identify areas for growth
  • Respond to aircraft charter quote requests with accurate pricing in a timely and professional manner, in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Generate new business leads by developing relationships with brokers and maintaining prospect lists
  • Actively search aircraft charter boards and determine if the current location of the company aircraft would meet the needs of the client
  • Outsource flights when company aircraft are not available to meet customer requirements and ensure the trip is profitable
  • Exercise discretion in handling customer requests and use discernment in resolving any issues that arise
  • Ensure all pre-trip policies, company, and FAA regulations have been completed prior to departure
  • Follow up with clients post trip to ensure satisfaction in a professional and timely manner
  • Identify ways to continually improve practices and efficiencies for various job functions to ensure smooth department operation
 
Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum three years of aircraft charter sales experience
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Strong desire to succeed in a commission driven position
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve in a fast pace environment
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Continual on call availability during non-business hours
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
