The Charter Sales Specialist is instrumental in maximizing revenue, optimizing financial performance, and driving charter sales across assigned markets. This multifaceted position entails utilizing forecasting tools, market data, and charter sales strategies to implement revenue management strategies, adjust pricing, and identify revenue opportunities. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with various teams to optimize flight schedules, analyzing operational data, and supporting market development projects with a particular focus on charter sales. The ideal candidate possesses advanced analytical skills, proficiency in airline software, and the ability to make independent decisions that impact revenue.


Primary Job Duties

Revenue Management, Pricing, and Charter Sales:

  • Utilize forecasting tools and market data to develop and implement revenue management strategies.
  • Analyze market dynamics and adjust pricing strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Develop and implement charter sales strategies to increase revenue and market presence.
  • Create and negotiate charter sales agreements and programs to expand charter business.
  • Analyze charter sales performance and revise strategies as needed.

Market Analysis, Development, and Charter Sales:

  • Stay informed of industry developments and identify revenue opportunities, including charter sales.
  • Conduct market analysis and produce analytical reports to support decision-making, with a focus on charter market trends.
  • Collaborate with scheduling and revenue management teams to optimize financial performance and charter sales opportunities.
  • Analyze advance booking and flown revenue to revise revenue management and charter sales strategies.

Operational Analysis, Reporting, and Charter Sales:

  • Analyze operational data to improve flight schedule performance and charter sales efficiency.
  • Generate reports and presentations to summarize financial, market development, and charter sales data.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and generate reports supporting market development projects and charter sales initiatives.
  • Maintain and send various reports to other departments, including charter sales performance reports.

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical or highly technical field.
  • Proficiency in airline software programs, Microsoft Office Suite, and charter sales software (or the ability to learn quickly).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data and make independent decisions.
  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure.
  • Willingness to learn new technology and industry-specific applications.
