Rampart Aviation is currently seeking a qualified Chief Pilot for its North Carolina base of operations.
BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY
The Chief Pilot will oversee daily company flight operations and report directly to the Director of Operations. The Chief Pilot is responsible for helping select and train flight crews for a wide variety of missions in multiple airframes. The Chief Pilot also shares responsibility for Operational Control of flight operations with the Director of Operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ground and flight training. Experience maintaining pilot records under a Part 135 operation is required. Preferred flight experience should include low level time (documented below 500‘ agl), with stick and rudder skills being a priority. Special Operations Aviation experience is a plus. Previous experience with Static Line, Freefall and Para Cargo operations are given heavy consideration. Relevant Experience includes the CASA 212, DHC-6, BE-1900D and Cessna 208 airframe.
Position may require travel to both foreign & domestic locations. Must be able to obtain a current and valid U.S. passport.
