At Bell Helicopters Amarillo Assembly Center we‘re building the revolutionary V-22 Osprey and upgrading the Cobra and Huey for 21st century military missions. Competitive pay and outstanding benefits are available for qualified candidates with Mechanical Assembler Sheet Metal experience for the Amarillo Military Aircraft Assembly Center. Responsibilities: This position requires a wide variety of assembly operations related to aircraft production or modification, such as:- Making necessary layouts;
- Fabricating and fitting component parts;
- Installing and adjusting all types of parts and assemblies where difficult and diversified installations, alignments, or adjustments are necessary;
- Making difficult repairs and alterations according to design changes; and
- Removing required parts and making replacements.
- The employee may be required to work from blueprints or project sketches and templates without the use of jigs or fixtures.
- Shift work may be required.
Education: Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, general aircraft maintenance or assembly experience, or formal training from a recognized program.

Position Requirements: Preference given to candidates with 3 years aircraft experience, specifically working with sheet metal.Shift work may be required.
