| Job Desc: |
Candidate shall apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved by referencing manufacturer‘s manuals or similar documents. Experience in troubleshooting, operation, modification and inspection methods relative to the installed systems is essential. Working level knowledge is required for all aspects of equipment operations including installation, maintenance and operation techniques, adjustment, calibration, trouble shooting, bench check, routine maintenance, inspection and intermediate level repair that may support both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the P-3 related systems. Candidate shall be responsible for best safety practices and shop maintenance, and recommend corrective measures necessary to insure adequate maintenance and safety measures are followed. Candidate may be required to travel in support of remote site operations. Inspection Authorization (IA) is desired. Employment is dependent upon successful background security and drug screen. |
| Requirements: |
The qualified applicant must have a minimum of 7 years of recent aircraft related extensive knowledge/experience pertaining to the daily maintenance, inspection, logistics and operation of the P-3 fixed wing aircraft and its installed avionics and electrical/instrument systems. Must be thoroughly familiar with the maintenance requirement cards and the ISIS inspection process for the P-3 type aircraft. Experience with APS 145 Radar preferred. |
