| Job Desc: |
Fenway Group is seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer to contract with a leading airline engineering organization in the Dallas Fort Worth area. This individual will work on a long-term contract basis.- Successful candidate will work on repairs such as flight controls, landing gear, and / or hydraulic systems or interiors.
- Candidates will have a mechanical systems background or will have a completions / interiors background.
- A mechanical systems background is preferred.
- Also, candidates with fuel burn efficiency experience are preferred, but this is not required.
- Engineers will liaison with airframe manufacturers and will facilitate Service Bulletins and approved repairs.
- They will also liaison with mechanics who will be performing those repairs.
- Engineers will liaison with MRO contacts who conduct repairs at remote locations around the U.S.
- Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and project management / facilitation skills.
Successful candidates will have:- 5-10 years of engineering experience with an Airline, MRO, or OEM, preferably within their service engineering or maintenance engineering organization.
- Airline experience is preferred.
- Design experience or new product development experience is not required or preferred.
- These candidates will not be designing, they will be facilitating and approving repairs that have already been developed and approved by the manufacturer.
Additional Requirements:- Must have a Bachelor‘s Degree in Engineering in either Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
- Must have 5-10 years of experience as an aerospace engineer, with an emphasis on flight controls, landing gear, hydraulic systems, or completions / interiors.
- Mechanical Systems experience is preferred.
- Must be a self-starter, team player, flexible attitude, driven individual.
- Must have a positive attitude and respect for all other employees at all levels.
