Machinist, skilled with various metal lathes, horizontal boring machines, various surface grinders, drill presses, grinders, metal shears, various metal brakes, various honing machines, bandsaws, cutoff saws, brush plating, shot peening, boring and reaming fixtures for aircraft and general shop equipment.
Duties:- Must be able to maintain specified dimensional accuracy, perform precision hand fitting and finish assembly.
- Interpret detailed drawings, technical manuals, and/or specifications for the material to be used and design of the end item.
- Plan and layout machining work to manufacture items from raw stock or castings, forgings, welments, other fabrications or parts using machining tools.
