Today, Aloha Air Cargo‘s aircraft fleet consists of five (5) Boeing 737-200 freighters in an all cargo configuration. Each has a cargo carrying capacity of approximately 30,000 lbs. Daily operations include 16 - 18 nightly departures out of Honolulu and two daily charters, including service to every major airport destination within the State of Hawaii including Kahului, Lihue, Hilo and Kona. |

This position‘s primary responsibility is to increase revenue by (a) developing and presenting business proposals to potential new customers, (b) negotiating volume-based contracts with new and existing customers, (c) overseeing the customer support function to deliver superior customer service, (d) creating awareness of Aloha Air Cargo services in the market.
Essential Duties:- Develop Aloha Air Cargo product to ensure maximum uplifts of cargo in order to achieve stations‘ revenue targets
- Identify existing and potential competitors; understand their customer bases, strengths and weaknesses; and use this information to increase Aloha Air Cargo‘s market share.
- Continuously monitor market trends, compile cargo related statistical information and provide feedback to CEO and Management.
- Work closely with the CEO and the management to team to launch new services and execute expansion plans of the company
- Recommend sales policies, methods and practices to headquarters and assist with planning to boost effective product, positioning, promotion and pricing strategies.
- Recommend, implement and effectively control local market pricing within the parameters of authority from cargo headquarters, in order to achieve and contribute towards route and points of sale objectives.
- Plan, develop, direct and control cargo sales to maintain, develop and promote sales and image.
- Research, plan and develop station cargo services in order to assist headquarters in development and enhancement of distribution logistics.
- Continuously review and develop product quality against specifications to enhance customer loyalty.
- Manage cargo employees in compliance with corporate / local regulations, policies and procedures to ensure the maintenance of a disciplined, motivated work force with effective utilization of human and material resources to pro-actively achieve cargo related goals.
- Measure and monitor cargo customer satisfaction to identify opportunities to improve the company‘s performance and financial results.
- Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or related field of study or; 10 or more years of successful experience with sales and marketing expertise in cargo operations. Experience in managing a P&L would be a distinct advantage.
- Polished, articulate demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to network and establish lasting relationships in the business community.
- Strong reputation with excellent industry contacts and the ability to reach key decision makers.
