| Job Desc: |
Looking for qualified candidates to design, develop, and implement test methods and test stands for testing of actuation systems and gear boxes per customer requirements.- Develop and create test procedures for the completion of qualification and production test.
- Plan and arrange schedules and equipment required for testing and evaluation of test specimen.
- The primary product area is aircraft accessory gearing, actuation, and helicopter transmissions and drive systems, as well as other geared systems applications in the marine and industrial areas.
- The successful applicant will have strong people skills and leadership qualities, and be capable of leading a test team in the creation of hardware designs that meet and exceed customer expectations as well as meeting challenging manufacturability and cost goals.
- This person must be able to work effectively in a team environment and accept the role as mentor and leader of less experienced test personnel within the team.
- Proven technical innovation and effective project management skills are essential.
Job Requirements:- BSME or equivalent with 10 to 20 years experience in the aircraft mechanical component/systems test fields.
- Experience in the direct design of test stands, rotating machinery, qualification testing, experience with computer-based engineering analysis tools and CAD systems are a must.
- PRO/E modeling experience is required.
Contract to hire position. Salary range 26.44 to 31.25 per hour.
