| Job Desc: |
Performs functional tests, removes, installs, and troubleshoots aircraft avionics systems and components. Ability to read schematic and wiring diagrams. Ability to perform in-depth diagnostics on aircraft avionics components and systems. Ensures that work completed on shift complies with all technical publications and FAA regulations. Presents a clean and neat work area to customers. Demonstrates professionalism while working on aircraft. Give direction or technical advice to the technicians to make sure systems are troubleshot properly. Coordinate with maintenance leads on which airplanes can be returned to service and create a priority list on how to get planes out by their scheduled time. Responsible for adequate training of computer software, company policies, test equipment and systems to each technician on your shift. Debrief on-coming and out-going crew members. Focuses efforts on delivering satisfaction to the customer. |
| Requirements: |
The right candidate must have the drive and desire to excel in our rapidly growing business. Qualified persons must have 5+ years of hands on experience directly related to avionics installations, scheduled and unscheduled avionics/electrical maintenance. Candidate must work well in a team environment, be self-motivated, safety conscious, detail orientated and possess the ability to communicate with customers in a clear, concise, professional manner. FCC, A&P License, previously held Repairman Certificate a plus |
