| SHEETMETAL TECHNICIAN-ATLANTA, GEORGIA.
Reliance Aerotech Services has contract positions opening now in Atlanta, Georgia for highly experienced Sheetmetal Specialists with experience performing avionics installs on large commercial aircraft.
Description:
This position will be responsible for performing aircraft sheetmetal upgrades, installations and modifications as directed in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by the FAA and our customer.
Qualifications :
The successful applicant MUST have at least 3 to 5 years of sheetmetal systems installations, modifications and upgrades experience. Experience on Boeing aircraft is preferred.
FAA A&P certification will be a plus. Inspection Authorization or any factory schooling is also highly desirable.
Duties / Responsibilities :
The Aircraft Sheetmetal Mechanic must:
* Fabricate parts for avionics install with zero tolerance.
* Install and maintain aircraft structural systems.
* Coordinate with Shift Lead and Engineering on changes to blueprints and diagrams.
* Perform routine checkouts after work has been completed.
Compensation / Benefits :
Straight time = $8.00/Hour
Per-Diem = $17.00/Hour up to first 40 hours
Overtime = $27.00/Hour
Up to $150.00 in travel allowance.
