 F-15 Automatic Flight Controls Technician – Saudi Arabia Reliance Aerotech Services has an F-15 Automatic Flight Controls Technician position open that will be located in Saudi Arabia. This candidate will need to be determined by the end of January. The position will be a direct three year deployment with our customer. Specialty Summary. With primary duties as an On-The-Job (OJT) Trainer, assist, actively advise, and teach effectively in an operational environment, trains assigned students to maintain tactical aircraft, support equipment, and forms and records.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As an OJT Trainer, establish and maintain an environment conducive to planning, organizing, and directing servicing aircraft. Identifies and isolates F-15 Automatic Flight Controls malfunctions, and analyzes performance. Operates Auto Flt Controls systems to determine operational condition. Interprets equipment operation to isolate malfunctions in flight control. Traces data flow and wiring diagrams. Uses built-in test functions, electronic measuring equipment, support aerospace ground equipment (AGE), and hand tools. Monitors equipment performance and detects and analyzes malfunctions.
Removes, installs, aligns, and checks automatic flight controls systems. Removes and installs line replaceable units, and aligns systems. Operationally checks externally mounted equipment.
Inspects automatic flight controls systems, post entries, and maintain inspection and maintenance records. Inspects auto flt controls systems and determines operational status. Interprets inspection findings, and determines corrective action adequacy. Reviews maintenance management publications and procedures to obtain systems information. Recommends methods to improve equipment performance and maintenance procedures. Uses automated maintenance systems. Inputs, validates, and analyzes data processed to automated systems. Clears and closes out completed maintenance discrepancies in automated maintenance systems.
Specialty Qualifications: Knowledge. is mandatory of: electronic, microelectronic, gyro, synchro, mechanical, and indicator principles, theory, and application; factors involved in transmitting and receiving within the radio frequency and radar frequency ranges; digital computer logic; using and interpreting testing and measuring devices; principles of aerodynamics and motion and power transmission by mechanical and electronic means; electronic combat principles; and concepts and application of maintenance directives.
Experience. The following experience is mandatory: experience in functions such as isolating malfunctions, installing line replaceable units, and using AGE necessary to maintain avionics systems. Also, experience performing or supervising functions such as installing, maintaining, or inspecting F-15 avionics systems. Application Instructions:
