 F-15 Electrical Technician – Saudi Arabia Reliance Aerotech Services has an F-15 Electrical Technician position open that will be located in Saudi Arabia. This candidate will need to be determined by the end of January. The position will be a direct three year deployment with our customer. Accommodations will be suitable to bring family members along as well.
Specialty Summary. With primary duties as an On-The-Job (OJT) Trainer train, assist, actively advise, and teach effectively in an operational environment, trains assigned students to perform and supervise aircraft electrical and environmental (E & E) functions and activities. Troubleshoots, inspects, removes, installs, repairs, modifies, overhauls, and operates aircraft E & E systems, components, and associated support equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As an OJT Trainer, establish and maintain an environment conducive to planning, organizing, and directing inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintain aircraft electrical systems, subsystems, components, and associated test equipment. Electrical on-equipment systems include direct and alternating current; gas turbine compressors and auxiliary power units; landing gear, anti-skid, and nose wheel steering; electronic engine control, ignition, and starting; lighting; master caution and warning; take-off warning; flight control; cargo door and cargo delivery equipment; non-electro static application windows.
Performs off-equipment maintenance on electrical system components and associated test equipment. Included are control, protection, caution, and warning panels; lighting equipment; frequency and load controls; generators and integrated drive generators; actuators, relays, motors, and valves; lighting equipment. Maintains electrical wiring and connectors. Uses electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and other test and support equipment.
Inspects and evaluates aircraft electrical maintenance activities. Determines operational status of assigned assets. Interprets inspection findings and determines corrective actions. Ensures compliance with technical publications and directives.
Specialty Qualifications:
Knowledge. Knowledge is mandatory of: electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles relating to aircraft electrical systems; concepts and application of maintenance directives; meaning of symbols used in wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
Education. For entry into this specialty, completion of high school with courses in basic electronics, mathematics, general science, and mechanics is desirable.
Training. The following training is mandatory for award of the AFSC indicated:
Completion of a basic aircraft E & E systems maintenance course. Completion of the advanced aircraft electrical systems maintenance course.
Experience. The following experience is mandatory:
Experience maintaining electrical, electronic systems. Also, experience performing or supervising aircraft electrical maintenance.
