THE OPPORTUNITY:
A leading aviation commercial aircraft line/heavy maintenance services provider is seeking a Proposals Manager with a minimum of 5-years experience in this field. He/she will serve as the company‘s central contact point for all proposals, responsible for scoping, developing and submitting sales quotes for A-D level maintenance checks. The candidate must be able to estimate man-hours through their understanding of work cards and MPDs. The Proposals Manager will have proven experience collaborating and working as a team leader, with dynamic interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management and customer delegates. Must have excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Candidate is recognized for meeting deadlines, delivering wining proposals and possessing the ideal temperament for working efficiently and effectively under pressure. |
| Requirements: |
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 5 years proposal production in commercial aviation MRO.
EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS: Excellent negotiator. Must be a strong user of MS Office and Project.
PERSONALITY: Of high integrity, respectful, pleasant, assertive, team oriented, self-motivated and self-driven with a “can-do” attitude.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Enjoys managing all proposal activities including customer interfacing, scoping, proposal planning, preparation, submission and post-submittal phases. Has a good grasp for numbers and articulating the company‘s competitive strengths. Able to travel as required (maximum 25%).
COMPENSATION: $80,000 - $100,000 subject to experience. Full Benefits including 401K. |
