| Job Desc: |
Assists the QA/QC Technical Advisor oversee the daily operations of the QA/QC Advisory Group, including assisting with the supervision and training of personnel. Responsible for authoring and implementing an Aircraft Maintenance Audit Program, including procedures, plans, forms, checklists and follow-up. Conducts internal audits. Hosts external audits and assists with resolution of audit findings. Assists in performing audits of maintenance vendors and verifies validity of external audits performed by other maintenance & engineering units. Coordinates with company Safety Representatives regarding the SMS. Participates in incident investigation and reporting. Assists in production and revision of Saudi Aramco FAA approved Aircraft Inspection Programs (AIPs), GMM, RVSM Manuals, MELs, etc. Reviews manufacturer‘s technical data and company aircraft maintenance records to ensure the accuracy of the AIPs and to determine if revisions are needed. Liaises with regulatory authorities to obtain AIP approvals, escalations, airman certificates, aircraft certificates, and letters of authorization. Performs Weight and Balance (W&B) computations and updates the W&B data and records for the Saudi Aramco airplane fleet. Provides advice regarding aircraft maintenance programs, technical and regulatory issues. Participates in special projects, performs research, and prepares reports. Performs the duties of QC Inspector on a backup basis to the normally assigned inspection staff.

| Requirements: |
FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate required. FAA IA; and CASE, FAA, ASQ, IRCA, ISO, or other auditor certification highly desirable. RII, FCC, NDT, and similar licenses/certificates are desirable. Education: Technical Degree or equivalent desirable. Communications Skills: Excellent command of oral and written English. Ability to write technical procedures and to liaise with regulatory authorities, equipment manufacturers, repair agencies, and suppliers. Special Skills: Proven working knowledge of FAA Regulations, Orders, ACs, etc. Highly competent using Windows/Office computers and capable of producing and organizing aviation maintenance publications and documentation. Ability to develop and maintain a QA system including authoring procedures, forms, audit schedules and manuals. Ability to adapt to a culturally diverse working environment. Experience: More than 10 years aviation technical experience. 5 years turbine powered, large aircraft experience. 3 years QA experience. Experience working with aircraft of the manufacture and type operated by Saudi Aramco, such as Boeing, DeHavilland, Gulfstream, Hawker, Citation, Air Tractor, Agusta, and Bell is desirable. Experience with CASS and Reliability programs desirable. |
