Leading Edge Aviation Services is a privately owned FAR 145 Commercial and Military Aircraft Painting Company that has been in business for 25 years. Leading Edge Aviation Services is the world‘s largest commercial aircraft Painting Company with facilities located in Victorville, Ca, Amarillo, Tex., Greenville, SC and Greenville, MS that provide services to major airlines, the military and regional carriers.
We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Paint Production Manager. This person must be a self starter, thrive in a fast paced environment, be capable of multi tasking and managing a large department. Professional appearance and excellent references are required.
Job Description:
Provide leadership, technical guidance and training/mentorship to ensure staff competency in paint activities and tasks with contributing responsibilities for product quality. Provide guidance and establish methods that will promote good communications, objective thinking and teamwork within department Coordinate and review each process during the refurbishing of each aircraft per the FAA and company guidelines. Review all aircraft work books for proper and timely entries. Provides oversight to paint production department to include all leads and supervisors. Responsible for the refurbishing standards, methods and procedures used by all employees in complying with all applicable manufactures, and customer recommendations. Monitoring department work load and assignments to ensure that uniform product flow is maintained consistent with program needs. Provide Customer liaison as required to close the loop on production issues. Promote major interface relationships to enhance the company‘s quality reputation. Implement programs which will result in the reduction of costs related to detection through the collection of data and analysis and problem solving techniques.

| Requirements: |
Must Have a Minimum of Five years management experience in commercial aircraft exterior refurbishing. Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other computer applications. Must be able to communicate at a professional level both verbally and written. |
