Key Responsibilities:
Manages the Internal Evaluation Program and QA Department Auditors to ensure compliance with Internal Evaluation Program policies and procedures. Develops a schedule of areas to be evaluated. Conducts evaluations in all areas pertaining to safety and regulatory compliance thru research, investigation, data collection and trend analysis, and verbal interviews with appropriate personnel. Collects data from evaluations and disseminates information to department heads for corrective actions. The QA Auditor is responsible for evaluating CJI‘s quality system requirements for compliance with FAA, customer and other regulatory requirements and evaluating the conformity of activities with respect to these requirements. Verifies the implementation of solutions and corrective action plans. Documents levels of compliance of these actions. Required to assist Training, Production, and Quality management in the education of personnel working within CJI and customer program requirements. Responsible to conduct audits and maintain records related to the Approved Vendor List. Achieve and maintain a Level III CASE Auditor qualification and conduct external audits.
Qualifications:- At least 5 years experience in aviation heavy maintenance environment and background in Quality Control.
- Must have an A&P license.
- Must display knowledge of applicable CFR requirements related to the 145 environment.
- Must have excellent Computer skills (primarily Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Adobe).
- Must have excellent written communication skills.
- Must have knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies and any training on internal auditing is a plus.
- Excellent problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Must have strong attention to detail and an analytical mind.
- Must be self motivated, flexible team player and must be able to work under pressure.
- Must be extremely organized.
- Previous CASE Level II or III qualification preferred.
- Pass ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
