Coordinate all American Eurocopter Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) Major Repair and Alteration (MRA) projects under the supervision of the Director of Certification.
Create and maintain the MRA specific portions of the AE ODA Procedure and Training manuals.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain the applicable portions of the AE ODA procedures and training manuals that will be required for obtaining and maintaining the FAA acceptance of the AE ODA MRA delegation.
Responsible for assuring compliance with Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Parts 21, 27, and 29 for AE Major Repairs and Alterations performed under the AE ODA.
Responsible for ensuring that the FAA approved AE ODA Manual MRA procedures are followed on AE Major Repair and Alteration projects.
Responsible for reviewing and ensuring the current FAA Orders and policies are being followed on the AE LUH ODA Major Repair and Alteration projects.
Coordinate communications between the FAA and AE on AE ODA MRA projects...
Coordinate the AE and Consultant DAS staff of engineers, quality assurance inspectors, and flight test pilots on AE ODA Major Repair and Alteration projects.
Monitors service difficulties on AE ODA Major Repair and Alteration projects and coordinates corrective actions as required.
Responsible to maintain and safeguard all AE ODA Major Repair and Alteration files and records on behalf of the FAA.

Job Requirements
Minimum of ten years related experience and at least five years working experience with the FAA on Certification projects.
Requires a thorough working knowledge of the 14 CFR parts 21, 27, and 29 requirements.
Must have design engineering knowledge in rotor craft structure, mechanical, electrical, powerplant, and flight test areas.
Requires strong thinking and analytical skills.
Essential functions requires the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form with internal and external customers.
Able to read and interpret various types of technical documentation and data.
Ability to use PC computers and associated hardware and software.
Must have a current FAA DER delegation. As AE ODA MRA Administrator must be approved by the FAA.
Education
Engineering degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
