Our client in Hagerstown, MD is actively seeking qualified Avionics Technicians for immediate consideration. This is a contract position with a salary of $27-28/Hr. Our client is a provider of total capability solutions in the vertical lift markets. Through its rotorcraft systems design, development, production and integration capabilities, its experience in the training business and its customer focused Integrated Operational Support solutions, the Company delivers unrivalled mission capability to military and commercial operators around the world. By investing in new products and partnerships, our client is focusing on its strategic vision of being synonymous with helicopters and vertical lift. This position will be performing H-3 RESET / DEPOT work. Description: Repairs, maintains and installs systems used for aircraft navigation and radio communications, weather radar systems and other instruments and computers that control flight, engine and other primary functions. Perform inspections, make adjustments and repair, replace components, and correct any malfunction or deficiency with and without power applied to aircraft Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with applicable technical data, SOPs and FAA/JAA regulations Responsibilities: -Access, remove and re-install aircraft components including mechanical and electrical which obstruct their performance of assigned repair/replace tasks -Perform basic mechanical and electrical removals and installations -Perform troubleshooting of all systems installed on the aircraft Document work performed -Fabricate parts/wire harness and install per engineering drawings; -Assist in troubleshooting off-aircraft components such as switch panels, circuit breaker panels, and junction boxes. |

Position Requirements: -5 or more years of related experience -Rotary Wing Aircraft Experience -Must have in-depth working knowledge of aircraft safety directives Desired Skills: -Military and/or Aviation experience; H-3 or military helicopter a plus -Plan, organize, and prioritize time and workload in order to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines -Ensure compliance with contact terms, policies and procedures -Make a decision or solve a problem by using logic to identify key facets, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions **CANDIDATES MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO OBTAIN A US SECRET CLEARANCE AND PASS DRUG/BACKGROUND!!**
