Our client in Hagerstown, MD is actively seeking qualified A&P Mechanics for immediate consideration. This is a contract position with a salary of $27-28/Hr. Our client is a provider of total capability solutions in the vertical lift markets. Through its rotorcraft systems design, development, production and integration capabilities, its experience in the training business and its customer focused Integrated Operational Support solutions, the Company delivers unrivalled mission capability to military and commercial operators around the world. By investing in new products and partnerships, our client is focusing on its strategic vision of being synonymous with helicopters and vertical lift. This position will be performing H-3 RESET / DEPOT work. Description: Responsible for performance of daily aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) activities on rotor-wing aircraft, accessories, and components. Includes pre-flight, post flight inspections and all scheduled & unscheduled maintenance. Reports to Lead Mechanic Responsibilities: -Performs inspections, servicing, towing, and maintenance on helicopters. -Maintenance of all aircraft systems; engine, rotor, rigging, troubleshooting, daily/turnaround inspections, corrosion treatment and structural repairs on helicopters -Reads, interprets, follows, and comprehends schematic diagrams, drawings, charts, and technical publications -Coordinates ground run and taxi aircraft, operation of APU systems, and ground equipment -Interfaces with operations personnel, report aircraft availability status, schedule maintenance activities to minimize aircraft down time -Recognizes and solves problems affecting maintenance, quality, and delivery of product |

Position Requirements: -5 or more years of related experience -Airframe & Powerplant license -Knowledge of engine, main rotor, tail boom assembly, and flight control systems -Must have in-depth working knowledge of aircraft safety directives Desired Skills: -Military and/or Aviation experience; H-3 or military helicopter a plus -Plan, organize, and prioritize time and workload in order to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines -Ensure compliance with contact terms, policies and procedures -Make a decision or solve a problem by using logic to identify key facets, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions **CANDIDATES MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO OBTAIN A US SECRET CLEARANCE AND PASS DRUG/BACKGROUND!!** |
