| Job Desc: |
Experienced Electrical/Avionics Engineer/DER to support the design, development, flight test and certification of type design changes (Supplemental Type Certificates) on Transport Category Aircraft (Part 25)
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Integration of supplier components/systems into aircraft systems
- Co-ordination with component / system suppliers on design development
- Preparation of certification documentation, Certification Plans, Design Compliance Reports, etc.
- Exercise DER functions by making findings of compliance with CFR 14 Part 25 requirements in accordance with FAA authorization
- Development of component level and aircraft level test plans, witness tests and analysis of results
- Interface with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other regulatory agencies on certification issues.
- Function as a member of the Designation Alteration Station (DAS) and Organization Designation Authorization (ODA)
All applicants must submit a Letter of Authorization from the FAA which contains Chart C2 Delegations.

| Requirements: |
- A bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Avionics Engineering or related discipline
- A minimum of 10+ years experience in electrical/avionics systems integration and design
- DER authorization for Part 25 (Chart C2, including safety analysis; software delegation desirable) (delegations for systems installed as part of a typical cabin STC required)
- Experience with Electrical power distribution / generation integration requirements
- Experience with foreign regulations (JAA, EASA)
- Previous leadership role experience preferred
- Good communication skills, written and oral
- Must be computer literate and familiarity with MS Office, and Autocad and/or Solidworks
- Must be able to travel nationally and internationally
