Component Overhaul Technician

Summary:

In order to continue expanding and maintaining superior service we are searching for an experience component overhaul technician to add to our team. This individual will work in our component overhaul shop and will coordinate with the Component Shop Supervisor, Director of Maintenance, Quality Control, and Component Overhaul Records Department to ensure efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibility and Duties are, but not limited to the following;

Perform Component teardown, cleaning, inspection, repairs, modification, testing, and reassembly in accordance with applicable FAA regulations and Manufactures Maintenance procedures / instructions.
Perform Component records research to determine applicability, compliance, and technical data. Complete maintenance record entries in accordance with company procedures and policies.
Maintain shop equipment, tools and publications to a high standard.
Monitor and account for parts and consumables for traceability.
Candidate must possess strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and organize a heavy work load to a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
This applicant must have a positive attitude, strong work ethics, excellent communication skills and be adept at multitasking in a fast paced work environment.

Education and Experience A candidate with a valid A & P License and Component Overhaul Experience is preferred. Individuals with Bell Factory Training and Bell specific Component Overhaul Experience (206,205,212,412) will be given preference.

Conditions: Employment is conditional on satisfactorily passing and participating in a mandatory FAA/DOT alcohol and drug screening and testing program.
