FBO Executive/Manager

Company profile:

Start-up, full-service FBO, from light pistons through heavy jets, offering GA fuel and valet services and an Into-Plane fuel contract potential (airlines).
The FBO will include an upscale terminal with all the programmed features and amenities found in an executive aviation terminal.
The FBO will offer maintenance services, avionics repair, flight training, and charter services (to be sub-contracted out).

Job Duties:

Start-up FBO- Southeastern US
Obtain FBO ‘temporary facilities/logistics’ coordinated in time for airport opening.
Participate in terminal design, FFE acquisition, pre-opening logistics, and personnel staffing.
Maintain full compliance with all governmental and FAA rules and regulations related to overall FBO operation.

Requirements:

Extensive FBO operational START-UP experience (proven track record of participating in, at a leadership level, a successful FBO start-up(s))
Eight to Ten (8-10) years RECENT FBO senior-leadership role, as ‘FBO General Manager’ or ‘FBO Manager’
Extensive experience negotiating and maintaining 3rd party agreements for FBO services and offerings
Extensive knowledge and experience working with FAA rules and regulations pertaining to FBO operations

Additional Opportunity:

May have an additional opportunity to open a second terminal at another US Southeastern airport location- depending on initial start-up FBO’s opening schedule, operational momentum, and performance.

Quality Manager

Job Scope The Quality Manager is directly responsible to the Director of Quality and shall assist him/her in the supervision and direction of Main Base Operations Essential Duties: Shall assist in directing, planning and laying details of inspection standards, methods and procedures utilizes by the Repair Station in complying with all applicable domestic and foreign Aviation Regulation, manufactures specifications and instructions. Responsible for assisting, supervising and directing all inspection personnel assigned to the Quality Department. Ensures that all required inspections & tests are properly completed for the maintenance performed prior to its return to service, and that all proper inspection records, reports and forms are properly executed. Conduct periodic checks for all inspection tools and calibration of precision test equipment is accomplished and the established calibration periods are not exceeded. Ensure that no defective or un-airworthy parts are installed in any component released by this Repair Station. Ensures the final acceptances of all incoming material, new parts, as well as products that have had maintenance accomplished by approved vendors, are in an airworthiness condition. Inspect for hidden damage, and inspection continuity of all items processed by the Repair Station. Ensures that all rejected and unserviceable products is properly tagged and returned to the owner or, with his permission, are mutilated and disposed of. Ensures that all Quality inspectors including collateral duty, field maintenance and torque inspectors, perform their duties in accordance with established and standard procedures in the Quality Manual. Oversee the initiation, requests for and the follow-up of corrective/preventive actions internal/external audits findings. Together with the Director of Quality and other Quality managers, oversee the Company ISO 9001-2008, AS9110 & AS9100 programs. Provide technical assistance at the request of all shop personnel and customers as required.

Key Tasks:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in a leadership role in an adverse or conflict area, covering personnel management, logistics issues, problem solving and critical thinking

Ability to find creative solutions to operational problems
Able to manually load/unload aircraft cargo as necessary up to 4,400lbs per flight

Preferable Skills and Qualifications:

Training from a recognized institution of higher learning is preferred with work experience of at least 1 year in an aviation environment. However, demonstrative work proficiency will be acceptable.
