JSfirm Member Press: Constant Offers Beechjet 400XP Pro Line 21 Upgrade

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport-based Constant Aviation has delivered its first retail Pro Line 21 upgraded Beechjet 400XP. Stephen Maiden, the MRO’s president, said Nextant Aerospace provided the engineering for the Rockwell Collins avionics suite upgrade. Constant Aviation is handling sales, installation and support. The baseline price for the installed upgrade is $390,000. “We’ll be offering a free Waas/LPV upgrade for customers who sign up for a Pro Line 21 upgrade with us at NBAA,” Maiden told AIN. “When we began working with Nextant Aerospace on the STC program we knew it would bring added value to Beechjet 400A/XP owners, and to deliver the first retail upgrade is an exciting accomplishment for Constant Aviation.” Additional options include a fourth display, integrated flight information system with electronic charts, XM graphical weather and a Waas/LPV-capable FMS. According to Maiden, the upgrade is a key element of the Hawker Beechjet 400XT program that extends the operating range by more than 50 percent to 2,000 nm while reducing operating costs by 30 percent. The Pro Line 21 upgrade manages the Williams FJ44-3AP Fadec and meets future NextGen avionics equipage requirements.
