BASIC FUNCTION:

Research new FAA dispatch training requirements

Develop dispatch training criteria to comply with FAA requirements

Rewrite complete or portions of company manuals using FAA required IOSA format

Train dispatch and crew services staff

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

Develop dispatch and crew services training manuals
Perform all dispatch initial, recurrent and re-qualification training
Maintain electronic training records for dispatch
Perform required audits on training records
Ability to read & write English
Ensure Allegiant dispatch staff meets all requirements as mandated by the FAA and Company policies
Assist in Pilot and In-flight initial and recurrent training classes as required to ensure�complete understanding of the SOC�s responsibilities and requirements
Perform in the capacity of a technical writer
Work with other department in-house and contracted to re-write all company manuals meeting the new FAA requirements
Coordinate with others departments ensuring company manuals are not redundant.
Ensure company manuals do not contradict each other with regard to Dispatch functions, processes and requirements
Work closely with Flight Operations Management to ensure flight operations is staffed with the best�trained personnel possible.
Monitor FAA, Industry and Company requirements, ensuring Allegiant is always current, safe and�legal
Ability to read and write English
Other duties as assigned
Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug screen
Must have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigrations Act of 1986
