A&P Mechanics - 44/hr ST, 66 OT + PD

We are currently hiring A&P Mechanics to join our team in Savannah, GA. This is a long-term, ongoing project.

Pay: $44/hr ST, $66/hr OT
In addition to hourly pay, qualified out-of-area contractors will receive $147 daily allowance for lodging, $1,029 max allowance per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Repair and replace defective parts using hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and testing equipment
• Perform complex repairs, installations, and modifications on airframes, engines, and systems
• Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Perform inspections of new powerplants, prepare powerplants assemblies for installation in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer guidelines
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose aircraft systems, components, and engines to determine necessary repairs and modifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
• 3+ years’ experience in aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, components, structures, and engines
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
