Accountant

Job Description:

YOUR ROLE
Under the supervision of the Chief Accountant, the Accountant participates in the preparation of monthly journal entries, monitors fixed assets and depreciation, participates in the annual budget preparation, monthly and annual financial statements, invoicing review, data organization, reports through Excel and reconciliations, development and improvement of existing financial management systems, procedures and tools, support the team in different tasks of the accounting cycle, as well as all other related tasks.

Job Requirements:

DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE?
• University degree in accounting or in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting.
• Have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Hold the CPA designation or are in the process of obtaining it.
• Have knowledge and experience with the accounting cycle.
• Have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Advanced Excel).
• Have the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Bilingual (English and French), have excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Cree language is an asset.
