Bij KLM Cityhopper voeren we dagelijks vele retourvluchten uit. Dat kan alleen als we ons cabine- en cockpitpersoneel optimaal inplannen. Aan jou de taak om deze crewplanning gedurende de dag van uitvoering te bewaken en bij te sturen in geval van verstoringen.

What will you do?Worden er vluchten geannuleerd, of is er een vlucht vertraagd? Heeft crew zich op het laatste moment moeten afmelden omdat ze bijvoorbeeld ziek of not fit to fly zijn? Dan heeft dat meteen enorme impact op de planning. Gelukkig ben jij er om de dienstregeling te repareren. Deze moet namelijk volledig en punctueel blijven, de roosters moeten voldoen aan regels en voorschriften als het arbeidstijdenbesluit (EASA), verschillende cao’s en de richtlijnen Vliegdienst en Cabinedienst. Deze complexe puzzel leg je bovendien onder hoge druk: je hebt maar weinig tijd om de dienstregeling weer op orde te krijgen. Kun jij het aan?

- bepaal je of we extra vluchten kunnen uitvoeren met beschikbare crew;
- behandel je telefonische last-minute vragen of -verzoeken;
- voorkom je out-of-pocketkosten, bijvoorbeeld voor hotel en taxi’s;
- communiceer je met cockpit- en cabinecrew over indelingen en gerelateerde zaken;
- werk je actief mee aan verschillende verbetertrajecten.
Where do you land?Je komt terecht in het Operations Control Center op Schiphol-Oost; midden in het kloppend hart van KLM en KLM Cityhopper. Je zit in een team van 18 crew controllers en 5 specialists die zich volledig storten op de KLC vluchten. Jij en de andere collegas verdelen de taken en werken nauw samen. Bovendien werken jullie in ploegendienst, ook in de nachten en weekenden.
Your profileJij staat stevig in je schoenen, hebt empathisch vermogen en bent interpersoonlijk sterk. Moet ook wel, want je moet omgaan met een spanningsveld van tegengestelde belangen: enerzijds de dienstregeling van het KLM-netwerk punctueel uitvoeren en crewbelangen anderzijds. Je durft snel beslissingen te nemen, bent erg flexibel en bloeit op in een dynamische en hectische omgeving – en geloof ons, dynamischer worden werkplekken niet. Bovendien ben je analytisch ijzersterk, werk je graag in teamverband, kun je goed tegen stress en plotselinge hoge werkdruk en kun je door het geven van goede argumenten collega’s meekrijgen.
Verder heb je:
- een hbo-diploma en/of hbo werk-/denkniveau;
- ervaring met crewprocessen, planning en dienstregelingen in een operationele omgeving;
- kennis van geautomatiseerde informatieverwerking en toepassing van cao’s en regelgeving;
- uitstekende kennis van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en schrift.
