Master Thesis within Automatic Landing Controller for Fighter Aircraft Offline Simulation (d/f/m)

Your tasks and responsibilities
  • Derivation and tuning of a parametric representation of the landing maneuver

  • Design of an automatic landing controller

  • Evaluation of the performance of the implemented controller

  • Documentation of results and lessons learnt

In case of according theoretical knowledge with the applicant, these tasks can be extended by aspects from landing gear modeling or pilot modeling.

Desired skills and qualifications
  • Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within aerospace engineering, control system engineering, or similar field of study.

  • Theoretical knowledge on flight dynamics and control laws design.

  • MATLAB/Simulink: Experienced.

  • FORTRAN or C/C&43;&43;: Basic knowledge.

  • LINUX: Basic knowledge.

  • English: Fluent.

  • German: Advanced.
