MISSION

The Aircraft Operability – Support & Services team [EOX, 8 people] is in charge of providing Engineering Support and Services to the ATR operators, either directly or through our Support directorate, in the Maintenance and Retrofit fields.

The team is responsible for including the added value of the Support activities into the Design Office practices for Operability and Maintainability purposes. We aim at bringing the “voice of the customer” into the ATR Design Office activities, from the start of the conception of a new system to its full in-service life.

Finally, EOX ensures the finalization of the S1000D tech data, and the publication of all the ATR technical documentation (line maintenance, scheduled maintenance, operational documentation and retrofit engineering documentation) via our portals or through physical supports. We are in charge of publishing the correct documentation in the correct format towards the proper end user.

Within the Aircraft Operability – Support & Services team, as a Tech Data Specialist, you will be in charge of the publication activities and of the support related to this publication. You will also act as a back-up to the main focal point for the finalization of the S1000D Tech Data.

ACTIVITIES

The main activities to be undertaken in the frame of this position are:

  • Publish and archive the Maintenance, Retrofit and Operational Tech Data toward entities which need it. This mission is done in constant coordination with our Support direction for the commercial aspects, and with the other EO teams which produce and update the documentation. Data is published mostly on web portals and applications, but also in paper form for regulatory reasons (Operational Documentation). The activity is partially subcontracted, and you will be in charge of monitoring and driving the subcontractor.
  • Proactively propose new services to help our customers (operators, lessors, …) get the highest possible added value from the ATR Tech Data
  • You will also be in charge of assessing the maturity of the design data prior to the production of the Maintenance Tech Data related to each development of the ATR Design office.
  • At the end of the production cycle of the Maintenance Data, you will ensure that the data is properly finalized so that the correct data is produced for the right end-user.
  • You will also support our customers on Tech Data related topics, in coordination with the Maintenance Support group within EOX.
  • In the next few years, you will be part of the transfer of the Scheduled Maintenance and Retrofit data towards the S1000D format.

PROFILE

You hold a Technician degree or an equivalent University training and have significant experience (10&43; years) in the Aeronautical industry, and in the Tech Data and Publication fields.

Technical skills:

  • Knowledge of the Aircraft Technical Data (Maintenance, Retrofit, Operations)
  • Understanding of the customers needs related to Technical Data
  • Configuration management
  • Understanding of the Aircraft manufacturer’s design data

Language skills:

  • Technical English required

IT skills:

  • Office suite
  • S1000D standard for the finalization activities
  • AIRNavX or ATRNavX
  • SAP
  • Excel VBA / PowerBI competencies would be a plus

Soft skills:

  • customer orientation, teamwork, organization, precision, adaptability
