Job Description:

Morson Talent currently have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our prestigious Aerospace client based in Yeovil. This role is initially until December 2024, with potential of extension.

Identified key accountabilities, included but not limited to :
• Support the department with administration functions and processes.
• Lead small working groups to help co-ordinate business/process improvements.
• Schedule departmental meetings and where applicable track actions.
• Support internal process reviews and prepare documentation for internal use and for interfaces into connected procedures in other functional areas.
• Support the internal life cycle management process helping to distil good practice and ensure capture and communication of lessons learned.
• Provide support to ensure company measures of non-conformance are centrally reviewed and that trends supported with effective preventative actions are in place.
• Assist the review and audit process effectivity to ensure all projects adhere to best practices, process requirements and standard approaches for project management including risk.
• Provide support to monitor audit and self-assessment results to identify trends and process variations as part of establishing a continuous improvement monitoring system, invoking improvements to address areas identified.
• Provide practical support to ensure processes are adopted and a culture of continuous improvement is embedded within the organisation.
• Support the maintenance of the departmental functional manual (controlling change requests and amending documentation for issue).
• Support the receipt and co-ordination of process amendments issued for comment (external and internal) to ensure robust reviews and responses within timescales.
• Support the maintenance of the training requirements matrix for all “courses” to be delivered by Programmes
• Supporting the planning, sequencing and scheduling of training sessions on behalf of Programmes
• Support with the scheduling and delivery of Programmes led reviews
• You are responsible for taking reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work and to co-operate with managers, supervisors and others to enable the company to meet its statutory obligations for health, safety and environment. Specific responsibilities for Employees are detailed within HSP 1015 – Workers Responsibilities.
• Applicable to Managers/Supervisors Only - You are responsible for ensuring that activities under your control are undertaken in accordance with the requirements set out in the SHE Policy, Health & Safety Operating manual, Health & Safety Policies & Procedures (HSP’s) and Environmental Management System (EMS). These documents, identify your key responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Environmental Protection Act and other relevant HS&E legislation. Specific responsibilities for Managers and Supervisors are detailed within HSP1010 – Management Responsibilities.
Requirements:
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages, SAP and other key company tools.
• Ability to work effectively within a team setting.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Relevant apprenticeship qualification (desirable)

Hybrid working available
Hours: 37 hours – Monday to Friday
