The Assistant Network Operations Center (NOC) Coordinator supports the daily operations of the NOC by assisting with scheduled activities, monitoring real-time operations, and ensuring seamless communication across departments. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in operational coordination within the aviation ground handling industry.
- Assist in operational activities, including coordination and data entry of reservations into the scheduling system.
- Monitor and track operational volume and ensure scheduled flights do not exceed operational capacity.
- Support real-time operations by communicating with frontline teams and local station management changes to operational schedules or operational disruptions.
- Assist with data entry, report generation, and documentation related to operational activities.
- Collaborate with the NOC team to identify operational challenges and propose solutions for improved efficiency.
- Provide administrative support to the NOC Coordinators and senior team members.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the NOC Management.
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associates or bachelors degree in aviation, business, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in aviation, ground handling, or operational coordination is a plus but not required.
Additional knowledge and skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to operational challenges effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn industry-specific software.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as necessary.
