Job Description:

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

  • Tyonek Services Group is providing full on-site / off-site maintenance flight/Functional Check Flight operations to support the US Army Flight Test Directorate AFTD at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The support will be conducted in accordance with current Army directives, including but not limited to, AR 95-1 and AR 95-20.
  • Areas for support to be provided include completion of all maintenance test flights on AFTD aircraft, fault isolation and troubleshooting, and management of internal contractor pilot and non-rated crewmember flight records.

DUTIES:

  • Will be responsible for warehousing of government owned finished goods on all LSFMA contracts with the U.S. Army
  • Will maintain receiving, shipping, and on-hand inventory data
  • Will provide data, as required, to LSFMA, UH-60, AH-64, CH-47 program office
  • Process shipment requests from government customers
  • Manage shipping process to completion
  • Receive, verify, and store residual/excess material on all LSFMA contracts
  • Provide inventory reports as required
  • Receive, store, and upgrade product for PM, Cargo, Utility, Fixed Wing
  • Coordinate shipments to and from field, in an effort to rotate product
  • Support all customers, housing products in LSMFA storage, with any inventory or kit modifications that arise
  • Manage financials to insure that budget is maintained
  • Provide financial data to customer as required
  • Will oversee/consolidate all PM Utility Helicopters GFE/GFM/Mission Kits
  • Optimize storage procedures to reduce footprint
  • Maintain inventory control/accountability over all assets within assigned PM Utility Helicopters storage facilities
  • Identify/properly dispose of excess material while maximizing financial benefit to the Army or Federal Government
  • Oversee receipts/shipping of PM Utility Helicopter material
  • Process request as needed for PM Utility Helicopters
  • Develop and maintain a quality assurance program to ensure all equipment remains serviceable and oversee the repair of any unserviceable material
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have successfully completed formal training conducted by the U.S, Army or Armed Forces equivalent, or training courses conducted by industry or civilian institutions.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years verifiable experience working within the Army aviation supply system/ GFE within the area of unit supply operations, property management and administration and equipment calibration.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of the Army supply system pertaining to aircraft parts, components, materials, and applicable technical publications.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of Army procurement, inventory management, shipping, receiving, transportation, storage, turn-in, property accountability, and supply procedures and regulations.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of current Army STAMIS (GSS Army).
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

  • May be required to read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.
  • Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.
  • Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
  • Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
  • May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, APU, etc.
