Purpose of Position
The Billing Specialist is responsible for providing FlightSafety customers with correct, timely invoices for all training sold at a specific FlightSafety International Learning Center, or Centers.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The following duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensure customers receive correct and timely billing.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
- Communicate with Learning Center Customer Support Teammates, Account Representatives and Sales Teammates to resolve any billing and/or customer account issues.
- Reconcile disparities between scheduled, cancelled, hard and soft hour stipulations, and no-show hours for Learning Center management and employees.
- Monitor customer agreements (terms, times escalations, and credit criteria).
- Conduct research to ensure customer pricing is present and correct.
- Produce reports as needed (i.e. SAP, Determine Order Type Report, CRM, Center Monthly Accruals, and Service Desk submissions).
- Interact with appropriate Sales partners to determine accuracy of account information.
- Train and cross-train, as required, to maintain redundancy in the billing system.
