Configuration Analyst

Job Description:

Description:Interprets, creates packages and annotates input data for the configuration status processing system.

Determines from examination of contractor, subcontractor and customer source documents, the data necessary for configuration status accounting to be analyzed. Interfaces with personnel of other departments such as Engineering Design Groups, Material, Manufacturing Control, Logistics and Contracts for clarification and to seek additional information.

Makes proper interpretation of data to be analyzed, identifying contract end items, change contract end items, and relocating serial-numbered contract end items. Assembles such data into packages as contract end item part number, specification data, location of contract end item serial numbers, change proposal number, production effectivity, retrofit effectivity, technical order status, spaces status and change status. Annotates this data onto a worksheet for encoding into the configuration status accounting system.

Performs an audit of all input data for accuracy and completeness, exercising knowledge of customer requirements and detail requirements of the applicable systems. Observes trends and identifies problem areas in the processing of such data. Informs others of discrepancies with suggested corrective action in order to assure proper configuration status accounting reporting.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Office suite - Word and Outlook, Teams.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
