As a Contracts Administrator – Level 3 or 4, your role at Dulles, VA or Gilbert, AZ will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. Our Contracts Administrator is responsible for supporting contract closeout activities and customer contact activities to provide and ensure proper contract closeout and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements and customer requirements. You will be an embedded member of the Contracts Operations team.
This position can be filled at either a Principal Level 3 or Senior Principal Level 4.
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept:
- Manage contract closeouts to ensure contractual obligations are communicated and understood
- Ensure fulfillment of contract closeout requirements, manage contract changes and maintain historical information
- Enter and maintain contract data into Contract Management System or Enterprise Accounting System
- Validates data with applicable customer purchase documents and internal policies, procedures and business system requirements for completeness and accuracy
- Investigates questionable data and recommends actions to resolve discrepancies
- Uses defined business software to produce delivery, packaging and invoicing documents for commercial, government, domestic and international shipments
- Other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table - Qualifications:
- Level 3 - Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience
- Level 4 - Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience
- Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
- Experience with contract closeout practices
- Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR or government acquisition regulations
- Experience working with MS Office Suite and Adobe
What counts as professional experience:
- Business Management (Finance, Pricing and Cost Estimating, Regulatory Compliance, Risk and Earn Value Management)
- Legal / Contract Law (contract formation, disputes resolution, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) knowledge)
- Global Supply Chain Management (Purchasing, International Sourcing, Export/Trade Compliance)
What Sets You Apart:
- Contract administration or contract management experience in Defense or Aerospace industry
- Experience managing cost-type and firm fixed price (FFP) procurement contract types, experience with Other Transactions is a plus
- Experience with federal government contracting requirements; FAR/DFAR interpretations
- Experience with contract closeout practices
- Experience with Costpoint
- Experience with Contract Managing Systems

Salary Range: $78,700 - $136,800
Salary Range 2: $98,100 - $170,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
