Responsibilities:
1. For Cross-Plant Asia (XP), concerning A320 and A330/A350 Family:
2. Coordinate XP Operations activities and subcontracted Work Packages / Suppliers on behalf of Plants
3. Deliver accurate and up-to-date operational visibility for XP, demonstrating the achievement of performance objectives
4. Define and implement recovery action plans as necessary
5.Provide constructive feedback on plant-related recurring issues identified during Final Assembly Line (FAL) operations, and collaborate with Quality Conformance Managers(QCM) to ensure comprehensive rectification of persistent defects
Main Activities:
Customer related Activities:
1. Serve as the primary Operations Focal Point between XP Customers (FAL-A C&DC), Suppliers (8 Plants), and subcontracted Work Packages & Suppliers
2. Participate to daily Production Review Meetings (SQCDP, etc.) and weekly Section Hand-Over Transfer Meetings
3.Organize regular feedback sessions with all Plants&39; home bases to review top items, define action plans, implement corrective actions, and measure efficiency
4.Compile and distribute daily/weekly/monthly Ops reports to H/O XP Operations
Operational Activities:
1.Coordinate XP Operations, subcontracted Work Packages, and Plant Suppliers by ensuring that all relevant resources and means are available to allow for the completion of electrical, systems, and structural reworks as per SLA committed targets, including Working Parties and Out-Located Work. Specifically:
Analyze the technical impact of Outstanding Work, including follow-up and monitoring of logistics flows between Europe and Tianjin
Ensure on-time and on-quality completion of OSW and Non-Conformities
Validate the priority of Blocking and Critical rework requests from FAL-AC&DC
For relevant critical topics, define, organize, and lead any necessary internal coordination activities, daily team meetings, and set up mitigation actions in liaison with Plants, Suppliers, and/or MAP as well as with FAL-AC&DC counterparts
Service Provider Subcontracted/Supplier Activities:
1.Provide oversight of daily activities & alignment with H/O XP Operations
2.Monitor schedule realization by emphasizing the on-time completion of anticipated blocking items according to technical steps and milestones
3.Solve and/or act as an escalation point, support requests for additional parts or manpower for critical and blocking items
4.Report Hospital Stock Logistics Requests
5.Review exceptional long lead time issues
6.Actively identify opportunities, initiate & support continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational targets
7.Request & provide input for Practical Problem Solving of critical/repetitive issues
Developmental Activities:
1.Support, train & develop, provide Knowledge Transfer and tutoring to XP Operations newcomers
2.Share lessons learnt & support XP multi-Program Operations
Job Qualifications:
Education:
- Graduate from an Aviation University with Aviation Related Courses / Engineer Equivalent Degree
Experience:
- 3-8 years’ in the Aviation industry, with experience in multi-functional teams and subcontracted activities management
Basic Skills:
- Fluent in English, with French and/or German knowledge is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to work in an international team, with people from various cultural backgrounds, and across organizational borders
Agility & Reliability:
- Proactive thinking and acting. Be an innovative and autonomous problem solver
- Ability to work under pressure
- Delivery-minded with good communication and well-developed negotiation skills
Technical Skills:
- Knowledgeable on Aircraft Processes & Tools such as SAP, ACPnG, AirNav, CIRCE, IBM, TANDEM etc.
- Experience in handling aircraft failures or defects is a plus.
