The Cyber Delivery Assurance Analyst reports to the Cyber Delivery Assurance Principle and works closely with BA Tech Delivery Teams, the BA Cyber Team, and the IAG Cyber. This role is pivotal in ensuring that product delivery and ongoing assurance align with BAs risk appetite and that controls operate effectively.

Accountabilities:

  • Collate data to support assessments and reporting on whether product delivery and ongoing assurance meet BAs risk appetite and controls are operating effectively.
  • Create dashboards to support decision making, communication, and team prioritisation.
  • Analyse evidence and responses to assess whether they meet Cyber Delivery Assurance Requirements.
  • Analyse responses to requirements across product areas to identify areas of risk or opportunities for improvements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including third-party suppliers and delivery partners.
  • Assist the product team in interpreting and embedding Cyber Security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to an agreed framework against all product team deliverables.
  • Advise users on risk management and reduction and promote awareness in conjunction with cyber awareness programmes.

Skills / Capabilities:

  • Ability to produce, track, and manage high-quality documentation.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical ability and proficiency in presenting data in a meaningful way to enable decision making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess whether cyber security requirements have been met.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure in a changing environment.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Good verbal communicator, capable of simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrable examples of taking initiative and analytical thinking.
  • Some knowledge of and exposure to ISO27001 or NIST framework, PCI DSS, GDPR, NIS, or NCSC cyber guidance.
  • Understanding of agile ways of working concepts is desirable.
  • Cyber security knowledge and some experience in at least one of the following areas: Cloud security, network security, application security, infrastructure security, security by design, security architecture.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment with specific cyber requirements that require interpretation.
