Data Analyst for Corporate Auditing

Corporate Audit has the objective to provide assurance to Airbus Audit Committee by conducting internal audits in every organization companywide and all business processes. Corporate Audit & Forensic has a data analytics activity that supports audits, investigations and other department projects.

In collaboration with the existing data analysts team, the job holder will need to effectively capture internal customer requirements, identify suitable data sources and methods to extract, clean, integrate and analyse the data and deliver results in appropriate formats including use of data visualization tools.

The customers are the Corporate Auditors (data analytics to support audits), and also the Corporate Audit Management team more focused on reporting and dashboard for the domain (Audit universe, KPI’s, Audits status…).

The data analyst should be an experienced professional with a prior track record of data analysis in consulting and / or corporate environments.  They should have both IT technical skills (including programming) and some financial process knowledge.  Strong communication and organizational skills are also vital to work with others and to present results.

The jobholder reports to the Head of the Information Management audit, who in turn reports to the Head of Corporate Audit & Forensic.

Main tasks: 

• Manage a structured framework for reporting, visualization, data analysis and the related infrastructure;

• Work with stakeholders to identify data analysis objectives and requirements;

• Obtain a clear understanding of relevant internal organizations and existing infrastructure;

• Continue development of a structured framework for data analysis consistent with requirements and other relevant considerations including technical, legal and security considerations;

• Execute data analysis;

• Perform tests by collecting and processing significant data volumes from IT systems in order to help detect anomalies;

• Communicate results and support auditors and investigators and audit department reporting;

• Establish processes to communicate data analysis findings in a clear, concise and useful manner including using visualization tools;

• Train and support investigators and auditors in their further analysis and usage of the data analysis output;

• Refine and develop processes;

• Capitalize knowledge by continuously developing and improving methodology, tests scripts and query sets for recurring tests;

• Extend data analysis capabilities to enable further tests and extend analysis to other systems;

• Support the transition to new audit tool as data source for Corporate Audit reporting and dashboard, elaborate a roadmap to target a sustainable solution , in coordination with IM teams.

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have 

You have the following skills and experience: 

• The jobholder should be experienced in a data analyst role

• .The jobholder should be experienced to program in SQL and VBA and have good experience of QlikSense;  

• The jobholder should demonstrate experience using the main SAP modules and data mining tools, including data extraction, analysis and visualization; they should also have a general understanding of SAP security principles as well as SAP database logic.

• Experience in other languages such as Python, Google sheets macros would be an advantage.

• The jobholder should be fluent in English
