Contract Position

Our Support in Greenville, South Carolina site is the home of the F-16 Fighting Falcon production line and provides nose-to-tail aircraft modification, maintenance, repair and overhaul services for both military and civil aircraft. For more than 35 years, the site has provided world-class and affordable sustainment services to thousands of aircraft, such as the C-130, P-3, KC-10, and C-9.

Responsibilities:

• Support production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.
• Perform activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering.
• May facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail and strong record-keeping.
• Experience with Perishables/Consumables
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Sound critical thinking skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Strategic purchasing.
• Tool Control Experience.
• Experience in inventory control/audits/cyclecounts and annual inspections.
• Experience in manufacturing/maintenance environment.
• Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, and Outlook).SAP, AMCS, Maximo experience or industry used MRP/ERP systems.
• Software Skills:
  • Data Entry Basic with 2-4 years of experience.
  • MS Excel with 1-2 years of experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Inventory Control with 1-2 years of experience
